Gynecomastia (the over-development of male breasts) affects about 40%-60% percent of men to some degree. Dr. J. Anthony Stephens offers gynecomastia surgery to restore a more masculine appearance to the chest.
What is Recovery Like?
After surgery, bandages will cover your incisions to protect and support your improved chest contours. Swelling, bruising, and mild discomfort are common after this procedure and can be easily controlled with prescribed medication and by carefully following all post-surgical instructions.
Dr. Stephens will advise you on how long you should take off from work and normal activities in order to allow adequate healing, as well as any aftercare instructions that will be necessary for your incision sites to reduce the risk of infection.
