A labiaplasty is usually performed as an outpatient procedure using general anesthesia. Dr. Stephens will remove the excess tissue from the labia minora so it is aligned with the labia majora. Typically, this procedure takes 45 minutes to an hour to complete.
Dr. Stephens will provide you with post-surgical instructions in order to reduce the risk of infection and ensure that you heal properly. During your consultation with Dr. Stephens, he will let you know how much time you’ll need to take off work and normal activities to ensure proper healing.
