If you’re ready to look in the mirror and see a refreshed, more youthful appearance staring back at you, it may be time to start thinking about a Mini Facelift.

MINI FACELIFT PROCEDURE

WHAT IS A MINI FACELIFT?

As you get older, you’ll inevitably start to notice certain changes in your facial appearance. These shifts can include the development of loose, sagging skin around your mouth, jawline, and neck. Although a traditional facelift surgery can be a wonderful way to tighten your facial skin, it may not be the right choice for you. If you’re interested in a less invasive option for achieving smoother skin and a more youthful appearance, a mini facelift may be just what you need. A mini facelift is a cosmetic surgical procedure and a slightly modified version of the traditional facelift. The surgery is performed to lift and tighten loose, sagging skin around the lower face and upper neck.

BENEFITS OF A MINI FACELIFT

Smoother, firmer skin around the lower face and upper neck

Lifted sagging skin

Reduced facial folds and wrinkles

More youthful appearance

Increased self-confidence

Long-lasting results

Less invasive than a traditional facelift

Shorter recovery time than a traditional facelift

If you’d like to have a more youthful-looking face and neck, a mini facelift could provide you with some or all of the following benefits:

WHO IS A CANDIDATE FOR A MINI FACELIFT?

Adults who are unsatisfied with loose and/or sagging skin around their lower face and neck may be good candidates for a mini facelift. You could be an ideal candidate if you meet these requirements:

Have loose and/or sagging skin around the neck and lower face that you’d like lifted and tightened

Be in good physical health

Have reasonable expectations

Do not have an excessive amount of loose skin (otherwise, you may need a traditional facelift)

Cost of MINI Facelift PROCEDURE

Mini facelift surgery typically ranges in cost from $6,000 to $9,000, covering various expenses such as operating room costs, anesthesia fees, post-operative follow-ups, and the extent of the mini facelift procedure. At Stephens Plastic Surgery, we offer financing options to make the procedure more affordable for patients. These financing plans allow individuals to spread out the cost over time, ensuring that we can achieve their desired results without straining their budget.

MINI FACELIFT PROCEDURE Details

If you’re considering undergoing a mini facelift, you can begin by scheduling a consultation with Dr. Stephens. This meeting will be your chance to discuss the procedure and ask any questions you have about the process. Dr. Stephens will ask you about your hopes and goals for the treatment and use that information to put together a personalized treatment plan.

Typically, a mini facelift is performed as an outpatient procedure under general anesthesia. Once you’re asleep, Dr. Stephens will carefully make small incisions around your ears and hairline. He will then make adjustments to your underlying facial tissue and, if necessary, remove excess tissue. Finally, he’ll close your incisions with sutures and apply bandages. On average, a mini facelift takes between one and two hours to complete, and you should be able to return home a few hours after the surgery.

AFTER YOUR MINI FACELIFT PROCEDURE

After your mini facelift, you’ll need to keep your stitches in for at least 10 days before having them removed. You may experience some swelling and bruising after the surgery, and you’ll need to rest quite a bit for one to two weeks. After around 10 to 14 days, you should be able to resume your normal routine and return to work. However, it’ll be important to avoid high-intensity physical activity for at least a month.
